PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Gen Z already lives on Spotify, but mostly for music. Our challenge was to introduce Spotify Audiobooks in a way that felt native to their behavior. Press Play did exactly that—reimagining what an audiobook could be for a generation that experiences stories through community, creativity, and shared moments.
We built a new ecosystem of audiobook experiences, from choosing narrators they actually want to hear, to reacting with voice notes, sharing favorite moments, and even adding intuitive background music that scores every chapter. All designed to make audiobooks feel alive, social, and unmistakably Gen Z.
